How to Design Educational Poster on Fungal Infections Prevention

Medical mycology is a branch of mycology dealing with fungal infections. Pathogenic fungi and invasive fungal infections can cause serious skin infections, allergies, etc. As a rule, sources of fungal infections appear in crowded places: gyms, saunas, and swimming pools. In such locations, it is very important that visitors come across attractive and clear visuals on how to protect themselves and their families from fungal infections.

This example of infographics was created using the combination of libraries from the Medical Mycology solution for ConceptDraw DIAGRAM. It illustrates the rules to follow to protect yourself from ringworm infection. Preventive measures include keeping skin clean and dry, washing hands with soap and water after touching animals, showering after playing sports, maintaining other personal hygiene practices, including cutting fingernails and toenails short, and changing underwear and socks daily.

The Medical Mycology solution extends ConceptDraw DIAGRAM with 15 ready-to-use sample graphics and 17 vector libraries containing images, symbols, and pictograms for designing professionally-looking diagrams related to medical mycology. 1. Run ConceptDraw DIAGRAM.
2. Reveal the Medical Mycology item in the Solutions panel.

3. In our example, we additionally use some circle shapes from the Business Diagrams solution libraries.
4. Click the library preview to activate it in the Library panel. As necessary, we will add objects to the document page.
5. Place the first circle object into your drawing. Resize it to the desired one and add 5 more circles using the Clone tool.

6. Let's use the Fill option on the Format panel to color the objects.

7. Select all the circles and send them using the command "Send All to Back" from the context menu "Object". It is necessary that the objects that we will add next do not appear to be hidden under our circles.

8. Add the objects from the Medical Mycology solution libraries.

9. Next, add the appropriate text to the objects and format it using the options provided in the Text panel.
