A four level pyramid model of different types of Information Systems based on the different levels of hierarchy in an organization. The first level represents transaction processing systems for workers. The second level represents management information systems for middle managers. The third level represents decision support systems for senior menegers. The fourth level represents executive information systems for executives.
"The "classic" view of Information systems found in the textbooks in the 1980s was of a pyramid of systems that reflected the hierarchy of the organization, usually transaction processing systems at the bottom of the pyramid, followed by management information systems, decision support systems, and ending with executive information systems at the top. Although the pyramid model remains useful, since it was first formulated a number of new technologies have been developed and new categories of information systems have emerged, some of which no longer fit easily into the original pyramid model.
Some examples of such systems are:
data warehouses,
enterprise resource planning,
enterprise systems,
expert systems,
search engines,
geographic information system,
global information system,
office automation." [Information systems. Wikipedia]

Types of Flowcharts
A Flowchart is a graphically representation of the process, algorithm or the step-by-step solution of the problem. There are ten types of Flowcharts. Using the Flowcharts solution from the Diagrams area of ConceptDraw Solution Park you can easy and quickly design the Flowchart of any of these types.Basic Flowchart Symbols and Meaning
Flowchart Symbols and Meaning - Provides a visual representation of basic flowchart symbols and their proposed use in professional workflow diagram, standard process flow diagram and communicating the structure of a well-developed web site, as well as their correlation in developing on-line instructional projects. See flowchart's symbols by specifics of process flow diagram symbols and workflow diagram symbols.Data Modeling Diagram
The vector stencils library Activity diagrams from the solution Rapid UML contains specific data modeling symbols for ConceptDraw DIAGRAM diagramming and vector drawing software. The Rapid UML solution is contained in the Software Development area of ConceptDraw Solution Park.SYSML
The SysML solution helps to present diagrams using Systems Modeling Language; a perfect tool for system engineering.
UML Business Process
UML diagrams of business processes. The Rapid UML solution provides diagram examples, templates and vector stencils libraries for quick and easy drawing all types of UML 2.x and 1.x diagrams: UML activity diagrams, UML communication (collaboration) diagrams, UML component diagrams, UML composite structure diagrams, UML deployment diagrams, UML interaction overview diagrams, UML object diagrams, UML package diagrams, UML sequence diagrams, UML state machine diagrams, UML timing diagrams, UML use case diagrams.ER Diagram for Cloud Computing
The entity–relationship (ER) model is a data model that lets graphically represent the information system and depict the relationships between people, objects, concepts, places, and events within a given system. It is also convenient to use the ER Diagram for Cloud computing representation and description the Cloud computing architecture, design them with pleasure using the extensive tools of the Cloud Computing Diagrams solution from the Computers and Network area of ConceptDraw Solution Park.Data Flow Diagram Examples
You need to draw the Data Flow Diagram? Use ConceptDraw DIAGRAM diagramming and vector drawing software extended with Data Flow Diagrams solution from the Software Development area of ConceptDraw Solution Park. The Data Flow Diagrams solution provides a numerous collection of Data Flow Diagram examples created according to Gane and Sarson, and Yourdon and Coad notations using the ConceptDraw DIAGRAM software.Data Flow Diagram Symbols. DFD Library
Data Flow Diagrams show information transfers and process steps of a system. The general concept is an approach of a depicting how occurs input in a system, further processes and what runs out. The aim of DFD is in accomplishing of understanding between developers and users. Data flow diagrams are maintained with other methods of structured systems analysis.ATM UML Diagrams
The ATM UML Diagrams solution lets you create ATM solutions and UML examples. Use ConceptDraw DIAGRAM as a UML diagram creator to visualize a banking system.
