Personal area (PAN) networks. Computer and Network Examples
A Personal area network (PAN) is a computer network that is used for data transmission between different personal devices (computers, telephones, digital devices, etc.) and for connecting to the higher level network and Internet. PANs can be wired with computer buses (USB and FireWire). A wireless personal area network (WPAN) can be made using the network technologies such as Bluetooth, IrDa, UWB, Z-Wave, ZigBee, Body Area Network. A personal area network handles the interconnection of IT devices at the surrounding of a single user. Generally, PAN contains from following such appliances: cordless mice and keyboards, cordless phone, Bluetooth handsets. This example was created in ConceptDraw DIAGRAM using the Computer and Networks Area of ConceptDraw Solution Park and shows the Personal area network.
Metropolitan area networks (MAN). Computer and Network Examples
Metropolitan Area Network combines local networks located within a city, and is based on high data rate compounds, implemented on the basis of fiber channels and other digital data transmission channels. Now, with the increasing number of network communities, wireless local area networks based on 802.11b standard are combined into a wireless metropolitan area network consisting of affordable antenna systems and consumer-grade wireless equipment using 802.11a and 802.11b standards.Virtual networks. Computer and Network Examples
A Virtual network is a computer network that consists of virtual network links, i.e. between the computing devices there isn't a physical connection.Well known forms of network virtualization are virtual networks based on the virtual devices (for example the network based on the virtual devices inside a hypervisor), protocol-based virtual networks (VLAN, VPN, VPLS, Virtual Wireless network, etc.) and their combinations.
This example was created in ConceptDraw DIAGRAM using the Computer and Networks Area of ConceptDraw Solution Park and shows the Virtual network.
Wireless Network Elements
ConceptDraw Wireless Networks solution contains a library with 81 vector stencils for drawing different types of wireless network diagrams.Computer Network Diagrams
Computer Network Diagrams solution extends ConceptDraw DIAGRAM software with samples, templates and libraries of vector icons and objects of computer network devices and network components to help you create professional-looking Computer Network Diagrams, to plan simple home networks and complex computer network configurations for large buildings, to represent their schemes in a comprehensible graphical view, to document computer networks configurations, to depict the interactions between network's components, the used protocols and topologies, to represent physical and logical network structures, to compare visually different topologies and to depict their combinations, to represent in details the network structure with help of schemes, to study and analyze the network configurations, to communicate effectively to engineers, stakeholders and end-users, to track network working and troubleshoot, if necessary.
Network Icons
ConceptDraw DIAGRAM diagramming and vector drawing software is the best for drawing professional looking Computer Network Diagrams thanks to the network icons from the libraries of Computer Network Diagrams Solution from the Computer and Networks Area of ConceptDraw Solution Park.Wireless Networks
The Wireless Networks Solution extends ConceptDraw DIAGRAM software with professional diagramming tools, set of wireless network diagram templates and samples, comprehensive library of wireless communications and WLAN objects to help network engineers and designers efficiently design and create Wireless network diagrams that illustrate wireless networks of any speed and complexity, and help to identify all required equipment for construction and updating wireless networks, and calculating their costs.
Electrical Symbols — Transmission Paths
Variable delay elements are often used to manipulate the rising or falling edges of the clock or any other signal in integrated circuits. Delay elements are also used in delay locked loops and in defining a time reference for the movement of data within those systems.26 libraries of the Electrical Engineering Solution of ConceptDraw DIAGRAM make your electrical diagramming simple, efficient, and effective. You can simply and quickly drop the ready-to-use objects from libraries into your document to create the electrical diagram.
Android GUI
Android is an operating system based on the Linux kernel and developed by Google for smartphones, tablet computers, electronic books, netbooks, smartbooks, digital players, watches, game consoles, TV and other devices.ConceptDraw DIAGRAM extended with Android User Interface Solution from the Software Development Area is a powerful software with extensive drawing tools which can help you to build the intelligible, attractive and easy for perception Android GUI for your application.
Total Quality Management Definition
Total quality management is the one known to be consisting of some organization-wide efforts put in order to install and to make some climate in which this organization can continuously improve its ability to deliver the high-quality products and services to its customers permanently.Electrical Symbols — VHF UHF SHF
Ultra high frequency (UHF) is the ITU designation for radio frequencies in the range between 300 MHz and 3 GHz, also known as the decimetre band as the wavelengths range from one meter to one decimetre. Radio waves with frequencies above the UHF band fall into the SHF (super-high frequency) or microwave frequency range. Lower frequency signals fall into the VHF (very high frequency) or lower bands. UHF radio waves propagate mainly by line of sight; they are blocked by hills and large buildings although the transmission through building walls is strong enough for indoor reception. They are used for television broadcasting, cell phones, satellite communication including GPS, personal radio services including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, walkie-talkies, cordless phones, and numerous other applications.26 libraries of the Electrical Engineering Solution of ConceptDraw DIAGRAM make your electrical diagramming simple, efficient, and effective. You can simply and quickly drop the ready-to-use objects from libraries into your document to create the electrical diagram.

"Digital electronics, or digital (electronic) circuits, represent signals by discrete bands of analog levels, rather than by a continuous range. All levels within a band represent the same signal state. Relatively small changes to the analog signal levels due to manufacturing tolerance, signal attenuation or parasitic noise do not leave the discrete envelope, and as a result are ignored by signal state sensing circuitry. ...
Digital techniques are useful because it is easier to get an electronic device to switch into one of a number of known states than to accurately reproduce a continuous range of values. ...
An advantage of digital circuits when compared to analog circuits is that signals represented digitally can be transmitted without degradation due to noise. ...
In a digital system, a more precise representation of a signal can be obtained by using more binary digits to represent it. While this requires more digital circuits to process the signals, each digit is handled by the same kind of hardware. ...
Computer-controlled digital systems can be controlled by software, allowing new functions to be added without changing hardware. Often this can be done outside of the factory by updating the product's software. So, the product's design errors can be corrected after the product is in a customer's hands.
Information storage can be easier in digital systems than in analog ones. The noise-immunity of digital systems permits data to be stored and retrieved without degradation. ...
In a digital system, as long as the total noise is below a certain level, the information can be recovered perfectly." [Digital electronics. Wikipedia]
