How to Plan Projects Effectively Using ConceptDraw MINDMAP

Mind maps have many practical applications in project management. Commonly mind maps are used to brainstorm ideas, schedule tasks; organize and present information. ConceptDraw MINDMAP offers a solution that expands mind mapping capabilities in project management. MINDMAP Diagrams solution provides mind map templates and samples for building Venn diagrams, Onion charts, Matrixes, and some other charts popular in project management and marketing practices.

A Venn diagram is used to show the relationships between data arrays in a view of circles overlapped. Venn diagrams are good for visualizing similarities and differences when comparing different datasets. In a Venn diagram, circles (usually 2 or 3) are used to represent each data set. Inside each circle is placed a list of characteristics that are specific to this particular data set. Characteristics shared between different datasets are listed in the space where the circles overlap. MINDMAP Diagrams solution is available for purchase and download in the Project Management section of the ConceptDraw STORE's Solutions tab. Also, ConceptDraw MINDMAP version 14.1 or later is required.

1. Run ConceptDraw MINDMAP.
2. Click the Solutions button on the Home tab.
3. A Solutions panel will appear - find here the MINDMAP Diagrams item.

4. Select the Venn diagram template.

5. Customize the template for your specific project.
