How to Manage Roles Assignments in Workspace Projects

Communication is key for successful project. ConceptDraw PROJECT Server allows you to invite participants to collaborate on your projects. You are the administrator of your Workspace and you possess unlimited authority to manage the list of this Workspace users. You can invite new users to your workspace and assign them particular roles in your projects. Each person you invited to your project is considered as a user within your ConceptDraw PROJECT Server license, regardless of his own. Users you invite can upload their own projects.

1. Click the USERS item in the Workspace Menu.

2. Enter the E-mail and the name of the new user and click the "ADD USER" button.

3. This new user will appear in the “Users list”. The user will get an email invitation to join the workspace.

4. Assign a role to the user in a particular project. Select the appropriate role for a particular project (5): PM — Project Manager; RM — Resource Manager; GST — Guest. The “Resource Manager” role requires you to specify the resources they will manage. To do this, use the Select Project Resources controls.

5. The user will receive an e-mail with a notification. To access the project, the user should click the project's title.
