How to Edit Grouped Objects on Mac

ConceptDraw DIAGRAM provides a variety of tools that make editing diagrams and other visualizations fast and efficient. One of these features is object grouping, which allows you to move, resize, rotate, and format multiple objects as a single unit.

While grouped objects are treated as a single entity, you can still modify individual objects within the group. To edit a grouped shape on macOS, you must first ungroup the objects, make the necessary changes, and then group them again.

1. Select the grouped object.
2. Click Ungroup in the Group and Lock section of the Arrange & Size side panel.

1. Modify the individual objects as needed. You can change fill colors, line styles, text formatting, object size, position, orientation, and other properties.

1. After completing your edits, select the objects and click Group in the Arrange & Size panel to group them again.

Result: The objects are grouped again, and all modifications are preserved and applied to the updated group.
