How to Draw Geometric Shapes

Because the geometry studies forms and space, it has many practical applications in the common life unlike other areas related to mathematics. One of the main reason why geometry has diverse applications — is visualization. Many people committed to visual thinking. They think in terms of shapes and sizes. Understanding geometry helps improve the ability of visual thinking. ConceptDraw DIAGRAM allows you to draw various mathematical diagrams including both plane and solid geometry shapes using the special templates and vector stencil libraries. The ability to design mathematical diagrams is delivered by the Mathematics solution from Science and Education area.

1. Run ConceptDraw DIAGRAM new document.
2. Reveal Mathematics in the Solution panel.
3. Click the Solid Geometry library preview to open it in the Library panel.
4. Add geometry shapes to the document by dragging them from the library to the document page.

5. Use options provided in the Format panel to modify diagram appearence.

6. Add text to your drawing — just select an object and type. You can shift text using the yellow point handle.

7. Finally, you can save your drawing as MS PowerPoint® and Adobe PDF files using Export options from the File menu.

Result: Geometry diagrams can be helpful when you learn the mathematics, or need to illustrate the tasks on Geometry.
