How to Create Floating Topics in a Mind Map

With ConceptDraw MINDMAP you have the ability to create floating topics that are not connected to the mind map structure. These topics can have subtopics and callouts, just like attached topics, and in Outline View, they will be displayed at the end.

You can detach any topic in your mind map to make it a floating topic:

Select a topic and right-click to bring up the context menu (CTRL-Click on Macs without a two-button mouse).
Choose Detach.

Result:The topic or branch will be detached from the main mind map. Now it is a floating topic or branch.
