How to Add and Edit Connector Text

ConceptDraw DIAGRAM allows you to add text directly to connectors, making it easy to label relationships, processes, and flows within your diagrams. Connector text can also be formatted, moved, and rotated to improve readability and presentation.

Follow the steps below to add and customize text on a connector in your diagram.

1. Select the connector and double-click it.
2. Enter the desired text.
3. Format the text using the Text Format section on the Home tab (Windows) or the Text panel (macOS).
4. Use the text box handles to move or rotate the text as needed.

Result: The connector now displays your custom text. You can format, reposition, and rotate the text to ensure it fits clearly within your diagram and enhances its overall readability.
