How to Draw a Family Tree

The family tree is built to depict family relationships as a schematic “tree” containing information on family history. The family tree is used to provide an overview of known facts about family as far back, as they can be searched.
The ConceptDraw Family Tree solution is designed to help both genealogical professionals and amateurs to represent graphically the hereditary history facts in the form of family trees and pedigree charts. It contains 3 libraries including more than 30 vector objects, as well as 13 example drawings and 5 templates. 1. Find the Family Tree solution in the Solutions panel.
2. Reveal “Family Tree” templates and click the selected one to open it. Now you have a workspace and a set of corresponding libraries.
3. Rearrange the elements of the family tree according to your particular case by dragging them to a new location. The Arrange & Size panel helps you to place the objects properly.

4. In order to assign a photo that appears for a certain person in the family tree select the needed object on the tree, and use its Action menu. To open the menu click the  button in the upper right corner of the object.

5. Click the object in the family tree to which you want to add a name and then enter the text. Use the control dots nearby text, if you need to move it.
