Blank Sheet Music

Sheet music is a handwritten or printed notation of a piece of music or instrumental piece. It allows a composer to record his piece of music and a musician to learn and play it precisely to the composer's idea. The skill to read sheet music is an essential skill of musicians of any country, any style of performing, no matter which instrument they play. This skill opens a door for each person in a world of music, a variety of styles, diversity of musical pieces to understand, feel, and play music.

Sheet music allows recording musical compositions and makes playing with other musicians easier. It is a kind of guide or instruction for musicians to perform a piece of music. According to the size, a piece of music is published on one or more sheets. Music books collect several pieces of one or many composers on separate sheets.

An instrumental piece is played by one or more persons and in the latter case each of them performs its part, which is a separate piece of sheet music printed on the individual sheet. The musicians read in sight their part to perform it. At the same time, a full score is also published.

The common elements of piano sheet music include staffs, clefs, notes, time signatures, accidentals, and dynamic markings. Usually, the piano music is written on two staffs. Most sheets of music include the title of the piece, composer's name, and date of writing at the top of the sheet music or on a separate title sheet. Sometimes, you can also meet the name of an arranger, who re-conceptualized a certain piece of music. On the left side close to the first staff you can find the tempo of the piece that is similar to instruction for how to perform the piece, slow or fast, sharply, etc. It is essential information for musicians to play a piece correctly, according to the composer's idea.
