CS Odessa Announces Crow's Foot Notation Addition to ConceptDraw Solutions

New free addition for ConceptDraw PRO in ConceptDraw Solutions provides a set of libraries for database modeling.

February 21, 2017, San Jose, California — CS Odessa is pleased to announce a Crow's Foot Notation Solution for ConceptDraw PRO v11. The new addition to ConceptDraw Solution Park is a free item for current users of ConceptDraw PRO, and is available immediately.

The originator of Crow's Foot Notation was Gordon Everest, who in 1976 put forward the idea of how to visually represent the different types of relationships that can exist between objects in an entity relationship diagram (ERD). A visual characteristic of Crow's Foot notation is the use of a three pronged fork symbol that is used to indicate the “many” side of the relationship. The Crow's Foot Notation is often used in Entity-Relationship models to describe how a table's data can reference data in other tables in a database. CS Odessa has released the Crow's Foot Notation solution for ConceptDraw PRO v11, a well-known business graphics and drawing tool.

The entity-relationship model is comprised of a number of 2D representational shapes and some visual conventions to describe data and data structures. CS Odessa has released a free Crow's Foot Notation library and samples that are available for use with ConceptDraw PRO v11. This new Crow's Foot Notation solution can be downloaded from Solution Park located on the ConceptDraw web site. The Crow's Foot notation is widely used in software engineering and database design. With its help, it is easy to create clear and accurate ER diagrams with large number of attributes.

ConceptDraw PRO v11 is compatible with Apple macOS and Microsoft Windows. ConceptDraw PRO retails for $199 USD. ConceptDraw PRO v11 is included in ConceptDraw Office v4 which retails for $499 USD.
