How to Create a Workflow Diagram Using ConceptDraw Solutions

A workflow diagram is a specialized type of flowchart. The ability to create Workflow diagrams is contained in the Workflow Diagrams solution. This solution extends ConceptDraw DIAGRAM with a library that contains 39 vector shapes that can be used when representing the transferring of data, documents, and tasks during performance of a work process.

1. Run ConceptDraw DIAGRAM.
2. Find the Workflow Diagrams item in the Solutions panel.
3. Click the library preview to open it in the Library panel.
4. Add objects to the diagram by dragging them from the Work Flow Diagram library to the document page.

5. Add a description to objects — just select an object and start typing. Use the text format tools to change its appearance in a way you need.

6. Select the Smart Connector tool . To connect elements using this tool, drag the connector from one connect dot to another.

Result: With the help of a workflow diagram you can visually describe the tasks, documents, people responsible for execution at each stage of the workflow.
