Step 1. From ConceptDraw PRO open a new document using the Home Plan template, located in the Template Gallery under Building Plans.

 

Step 2. Click the dimension icon in the upper left corner of the document area.

 

Step 3. In the menu select the dimension units you want to use in your plan.

 

Step 4. Add the Room object from Walls, Shell and Structure library to your document.

 

Step 5. Use the Room object Action button to display or hide the object’s dimensions and units.

 

Step 6. Next open the Shape Properties dialog using the object’s context menu and enter the required dimensions in the Information tab.

 

Step 7. Now add windows, doors and furniture from the corresponding libraries.

 

Result. When you are finished you will have a professional “Room Plan” displaying exact dimensions for your plan.
