UML Sequence Diagram. Design Elements
UML Sequence Diagram shows object interactions arranged in time sequence, how processes operate with one another and in what order and illustrate the sequence of messages exchanged between the objects and classes involved in the scenario.UML Flowchart Symbols
The UML diagram is a powerful tool which lets visually represent all system's components, the interactions between them and relationships with external user interface. The Rapid UML solution for ConceptDraw DIAGRAM software offers diversity of UML flowchart symbols for drawing all types of UML diagrams.
Data Flow Diagram Symbols. DFD Library
Data Flow Diagrams show information transfers and process steps of a system. The general concept is an approach of a depicting how occurs input in a system, further processes and what runs out. The aim of DFD is in accomplishing of understanding between developers and users. Data flow diagrams are maintained with other methods of structured systems analysis.Basic Flowchart Symbols and Meaning
Flowchart Symbols and Meaning - Provides a visual representation of basic flowchart symbols and their proposed use in professional workflow diagram, standard process flow diagram and communicating the structure of a well-developed web site, as well as their correlation in developing on-line instructional projects. See flowchart's symbols by specifics of process flow diagram symbols and workflow diagram symbols.Anyone Have an ERD Symbols Quick Reference?
ERD drawing becomes easier with predesigned entity relationship symbols, work flow shapes, entity relationship stencils. All variety of ERD symbols you may need for ERDs design is packed into libraries and templates from Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) Solution for ConceptDraw DIAGRAM diagramming and vector drawing software. But anyone have an ERD symbols quick reference? Detailed reference information for them is represented at the tables.
UML Class Diagram Generalization Example UML Diagrams
This sample was created in ConceptDraw DIAGRAM diagramming and vector drawing software using the UML Class Diagram library of the Rapid UML Solution from the Software Development area of ConceptDraw Solution Park. This sample describes the use of the classes, the generalization associations between them, the multiplicity of associations and constraints. Provided UML diagram is one of the examples set that are part of Rapid UML solution.
Diagramming Software for Design UML Interaction Overview Diagrams
UML Interaction Overview Diagram schematically shows a control flow with nodes and a sequence of activities that can contain interaction or sequence diagrams. The vector stencils library "UML sequence diagrams" contains 50 symbols for the ConceptDraw PRO diagramming and vector drawing software.
"Sequence diagram ... building blocks.
If the lifeline is that of an object, it demonstrates a role. Note that leaving the instance name blank can represent anonymous and unnamed instances.
Messages, written with horizontal arrows with the message name written above them, display interaction. Solid arrow heads represent synchronous calls, open arrow heads represent asynchronous messages, and dashed lines represent reply messages. If a caller sends a synchronous message, it must wait until the message is done, such as invoking a subroutine. If a caller sends an asynchronous message, it can continue processing and doesn’t have to wait for a response. Asynchronous calls are present in multithreaded applications and in message-oriented middleware. Activation boxes, or method-call boxes, are opaque rectangles drawn on top of lifelines to represent that processes are being performed in response to the message (ExecutionSpecifications in UML).
Objects calling methods on themselves use messages and add new activation boxes on top of any others to indicate a further level of processing.
When an object is destroyed (removed from memory), an X is drawn on top of the lifeline, and the dashed line ceases to be drawn below it (this is not the case in the first example though). It should be the result of a message, either from the object itself, or another.
A message sent from outside the diagram can be represented by a message originating from a filled-in circle (found message in UML) or from a border of the sequence diagram (gate in UML)." [Sequence diagram. Wikipedia]

UML Timing Diagram, Design Elements
UML Timing Diagram as special form of a sequence diagram are used to explore the behaviors of objects throughout a given period of time.ConceptDraw has 393 vector stencils in the 13 libraries that helps you to start using software for designing your own UML Diagrams. You can use the appropriate stencils of UML notation from UML Timing library.
