In this example the graphics of some trigonometrical functions are drawn with the help of programming script language ConceptDraw Basic.

The example illustrates the primary possibilities of ConceptDraw object creation with the help of programming script language ConceptDraw Basic. In it several Slices are drawn that are used for circle diagram creation and data representation in percentage.

In ConceptDraw Basic various possibilities for object creation with the drawing primitives ( lines, ellipses, splines etc) exist. However these possibilities are not convenient to use for creation of really complicated objects consisted of plenty of geometries and for groups composed of several sub-groups. The programming of such objects requires too much time. For creation of such objects ConceptDraw recommends another method. Objects for the given examples were created in advance with the means of visual editing. After this they were saved in a special library StampSample.cdl. Owning to such approach it's possible to create the copies of large objects in a document with only a couple of rows of code in ConceptDraw Basic language script. This approach is as simple as placing a rectangle or ellipse in a document. The ability to work with library objects is illustrated in a given example

Before starting work in ConceptDraw VI with the examples of this subsection, it's recommended to work through ReadMe.txt file, contained in downloadable archives.

This example demonstrates the use of vibrant capabilities of ConceptDraw on processing and the following visualization of external data. Macroses read out data on the structure of certain organization in text database format and XML-forma. After that a scheme of the organization is built up in the current document with use of objects from ConceptDraw VI library. Besides, you can easily convert the initial data of one type format into another.

This example demonstrates opportunities of ConceptDrawBasic both on interaction with external libraries, written in other programming languages and on visualization of external data. Macros in Network.cdx file analyzes local network and visualizes the obtained information as a scheme. For the analysis of information the example uses function exported by library written with the use of C++. Function analyses network and saves the data in XML-format. The data received from XML-file is read out and visualized by ConceptDrawBasic own means.
This solution works under Windows.
