Changes from version 1.0 to version 1.1

New features:
• When the program starts, the Start dialog offers some options for a quick start: create a new empty document, create a document based on a template, or open an existing document.
• Creating a new document: When creating a new document, it's now possible to base it on a template (Blank Drawing.cdt is the default template file).
• In the Options dialog, the Default tab:
  • For each new document, you can now assign a template to base on or specify other default settings.
  • The Start Dialog options were added.
• With the TextBox tool on, you can now use the arrow keys to move the TextBox of the selected object.
• Enchnaced graphic format support: When exporting into JPEG format, it's now possible to set picture quality.
• Insert Picture dialog: The Edit Group window has got an improved Insert Picture dialog.

Hyperlinks and Internet:
• Objects have got the new "URL autoparsing" option. When this option is enabled, the program starts scanning the text you have just pasted or finished editing for hyperlinks (strings, containing "http://", "https://", "www.", "mailto:", "ftp://", "news:", "file://", "gopher://", "telnet:", "wais:"). On finding a hyperlink, it assigns it to the object and modifies its hyperlink action accordingly.
• In the Hyperlink dialog, the Remove Hyperlink option was replaced with the No HyperLink option.
• Changes in the Hyperlink dialog:
  • No Hyperlink option added.
  • Go To button: brings you to the link you typed near so you can check if it's correct.
• Performing the OpenHyperLink command on an object with no hyperlink calls the Edit HyperLink dialog.
• Undo/Redo operations are now applicable when editing HyperLinks.
• Assigning a hyperlink to an object affects its hyperlink action properly.

Bug fixes:
• Formely, disabling/enabling guide lines from the View menu now kept the guides selected.
• Formely, if any settings were modified in the DocumentProperties dialog, the program didn't consider this as changes in the document and didn't offer to save the document when you closed it.

Libraries and samples.
• MindMapping library -Wavy object replaced.
• TQM library - ForceFieldAnalysys object replaced.
• IDEF1ERD library - Database Title object replaced.
• OLE library - all objects corrected.
• NetworkDiagram2.cdd sample - corrected.

WINDOWS PLATFORM

New features:
• ConceptDraw now lets you export, import and insert images in GIF format.
• Previewing has been expanded onto more formats: jpg, emf, wmf, gif.

OLE support (Windows version only):
• The Paste command now recognizes images and inserts them as pictures rather than OLE objects. If you want to insert them as OLE objects, use the Paste Special command.
• You can drag a link with the mouse right into the hyperlink field in the Hyperlink dialog.
