ConceptDraw MINDMAP changes from v1.2 to v2.0

Here are the new features and enhancement in version 2.0:

Branches

• Attaching objects to branches. Any objects, supported in ConceptDraw, can be now attached to branches and carried together with them.
• New types of branches added: Stars, Clouds, Rectangular, Round, Arrow
• When moved from main branch to sub-branch level and vice versa, branches change their appearance properly.

Map

• A legend for symbols, used on the map, can now be created
• Style Generator
  Now you can save settings in Format Map dialog as a named style. The number of styles is unlimited. On Windows, styles are stored in Registry; on the Macintosh - in Preferences. Styles can be changed from the menu or using a button on the toolbar.
• Branches can now be sorted alphabetically, by number or priority level.
• Show/Hide Branch Levels
  Use can choose to see branches up to a desired level (for instance, only the main branches). This feature can be applied to the entire document only.
• Branches that have hyperlinks are now marked with special symbols

Internet

• Exporting linked documents to HTML
  If a document has links to other documents, when exporting it to HTML you may choose to export linked documents as well. Then you'll be able to view these linked documents in the browser.
• After exporting a document to HTML you can now upload it to an FTP server.
• Hyperlinks can be pointed to an exact page of another ConceptDraw document.
• Now it's possible to save to and open ConceptDraw (.cdd) files from a remote server via FTP

Other

• In the Professional version, you can import tasks from MS Outlook and build a visual map from them (Windows only)
• Quick Symbols can now be renamed
• The Print dialog was modified. In Document Properties -> Printing a field was added, which sets the size of margins for printing. It's also possible to print cutting marks - they are useful for multi-page documents, that will be later glued together.
• ConceptDraw XML documents can now be opened.
• EPS export was modified
• The fonts used in dialogs can be customized. This allows to use non-English characters (such as cyrillic) in entry fields, text note window, Branch Wizard, brainstorming window.
• The Close button was added in the Brainstorming windows.
• Some of the menus were rearranged.
• Deselect All command was added.

Bugs Fixed

• Numerous bugs were fixed.
