ConceptDraw MEDICAL changes from v1.7.5 to v1.8

In the MEDICAL edition of ConceptDraw Product Line, version 1.8 contains the following fixes and enhancements:

• 10 new medical libraries added for the Microbiology and Biochemistry fields:

  Biochemistry:   - EnzymesCoenzymes.cdl   - Glycolysis.cdl   - CitricAcidCycle.cdl   - PentoseCycle.cdl   - RespirationPhosphorilation.cdl   - SmallMolecules.cdl

  Microbiology:   - BacterialCells.cdl   - Colonies.cdl   - MicrobiologicalLab.cdl   - Microbiology.cdl

• Improved set of medical templates and new samples added.
• The version adds support for XML for ConceptDraw format (Import and Export). This lets you generate a visual document from its textual description, and vice versa, save a full description of the document in simple textual format.
• The new menu option (Help / Get New Version) makes it convenient to download updates to the application through the Internet.
• The Find/Replace Text feature (available in the Edit menu) gives you more convenience in editing the content of the current page.
• The program adds more interactivity to the documents: for a hyperlink to another ConceptDraw document, you can specify which page of the target document should be opened.
• New shortcuts for zooming a document have been added:
  1) Cmd+Shift+Z (Mac) / Ctrl+Shift+Z (PC) - activate the Zoom Box mode;
  2) Cmd+0 (Mac) / Ctrl+Shift+0 (PC) - set zoom to Whole Page.

Bug fixes:
• PowerPoint import/export improved.
• Corrections and improvements have been made in the export to EPS, PDF and EMF.
• A number of minor bugs fixed.

• It is now possible to copy/paste objects across the applications of the ConceptDraw line via the system Clipboard.
• The Copy / Paste mechanism improved: the Paste from Clipboard operation is no longer needed, as the Paste command works correctly both with native ConceptDraw objects and the objects put onto the Clipboard from other applications.
• The toolbar buttons and icons have been updated according to the Mac OS X style.
• The performance of the File / Send command improved.
• The Cmd+H shortcut now lets you hide the application (in Mac OS X). The shortcut for vertical flipping has been changed to Cmd+Opt+H.
• This version fixes the problem with reading outlines with the UNIX line endings.

Bug fixes:
• The Option modifier key in text editing is now processed correctly.

• The mechanism of manipulating toolbars improved.
