July, 2003 Cariboo Computer Magazine ConceptDraw Pro review
The very first thing you notice is the speed at which this program installs. The reason is that the program itself is well written and requires little space on the hard drive compared to other similar programs. That is impressive.
You can use this program in numerous ways. It is a vector drawing program so line drawings with great editing features are easy to use.
You can create blueprints of an office with the diagram library of pictures included which definitely make this program an asset to a great variety of tasks and projects.

June, 2003 PowerMacintosh.de ConceptDraw Pro review
http://powermacintosh.de/
ConceptDraw Pro tested by Christian Abele.

June, 2003 PC Actual ConceptDraw Pro review
http://www.vnunet.es/pcactual/

December, 2002 USA CADinfo.NET ConceptDraw Pro review
ConceptDraw Pro reviewed by Geoff Harrod
"I had not found anything that suited me however. Now, to my surprise, ConceptDraw looks
like it can fill that role as well as doing all the Visio-like diagramming with smart
symbols and connectors, etc, and many general 2D CAD duties too."
"ConceptDraw is an unusually versatile drawing system that can serve a great many types of
user very well. I am most impressed and very happy to recommend it."

September, 2002 USA MacDirectory ConceptDraw Product Line article
ConceptDraw Product Line examined by MacDirectory staff.
"Guess what the most comprehensive diagramming and presentation suite
for Mac is? Sure, ConceptDraw. Where do you think they make it? You
won't believe it. In Odessa - on the Black Sea. You will ask if there
are possibly any Mac developers there? I would say that even more than
just developers. CS Odessa are Mac fans, Mac enthusiasts and Mac pros,
loyal to Macintosh platform throughout their history. Now guess why
ConceptDraw Line is getting more and more popular?"
"The First Guess: What is ConceptDraw Product Family?
The Second Guess: What's unique about ConceptDraw Product Family?

solution originale..."

February, 2002 USA MacAddict Review
http://www.macaddict.com/
ConceptDraw Professional reviewed by Rick Sanchez.
"Structuring a department, building a Web site, or planning a circuit design
is always easier when you're organized. One of the best ways to organize
structure is to create a visual "big picture," and ConceptDraw Professional
does just that, using some of the most robust technical illustration,
flowchart, and diagram tools available on the Mac."
"ConceptDraw Professional categorizes over 2,800 objects and shapes into 100
topical libraries, grouped together roughly by professional categories like
Business, Chemical, Engineering, and so forth. Once you get the objects into
a document, linking them is simple-you just draw connector lines between
objects."
"Creating diagrams is great, but if you can't share them, they won't do you
much good. ConceptDraw has you covered here, sporting an excellent array of
export options and full cross-platform compatibility between the Mac OS
(including Mac OS X) and Windows. Even if other people who need to see your
work don't have ConceptDraw, you have a number of choices for sharing. The
HTML export functionality is excellent, converting
your boxes, text, and lines into Web pages in seconds. You can also convert
documents to Microsoft's Visio format via an online tool."
"Bottom line: ConceptDraw Pro is easy to use, has a ton of features, and
runs well under Mac OS X (as well as Mac OS 8.6 to 9.x). The specialized
object libraries for technical fields are huge time-savers, and Visio
compatibility is a lifesaver in multiplatform offices. If you need to
diagram-or flowchart-anything, ConceptDraw Professional is the ticket."

February, 2002 UK PC Plus Review
ConceptDraw Professional reviewed by Richard Cobbett.
"The tools provided cover such diverse fields as flowcharting,
planning, concept mapping and UML. ConceptDraw Professional comes with
around 2,800 objects, thankfully vector files, to drag and drop into your own documents. These are
split into such categories as Engineering, Chemical and Software
Diagram, and example sub-categories from the latter include COM and
OLE, Nassi Schneiderman and Win95 User Interface."
"For basic diagramming purposes, all the tools on offer serve their
purpose. ... It is ideal for personal use, for quick diagrams and
basic engineering."

January 3, 2002 USA 1984 Online Review
http://www.1984-online.com/
ConceptDraw Professional reviewed by Alan Lu.
"ConceptDraw Pro, a program from the relatively unknown Ukrainian firm
CS Odessa, eschews this jack of all trades approach and concentrates
on the creation of diagrams, ranging from flowcharts to architectural layouts and electrical engineering plans."
"Where ConceptDraw Pro differs from other illustration programs in
facilitating the creation of diagrams is that any object that can be
drawn can also be connected to another object. ConceptDraw Pro also
gives an incredible amount of control over the attributes over any
object."
"ConceptDraw Pro is a very powerful tool and its broad range of
capabilities give it a large degree of flexibility. CS Odessa has also
produced several specialised versions of the Pro edition, such as
ConceptDraw Medical, so no matter what your discipline there's bound
to be a version of this excellent program to suit you."

ConceptDraw now exports to XML -- and readable at that! ConceptDraw is a very nice draw program for MacOS classic, OS X and Windows. My favorite feature: "smart" connectors that stay attached when moving things around (e.g. rearranging an "org chart" or other block diagram). Also, updates have been frequent -- and free. Equally remarkable, the company is in the Ukraine; truly an Internet success story. |

I appreciate you are a business that is trying to get off the ground and is doing a great service. |

This is a wonderful piece of software. Congratulations for your work! |
 | Ed Yourdon | April 25, 2002 |
I have been very impressed with your company's software products, and I hope that I will be able to attend one of your conferences in Odessa at some point in the future. |

Fantastic program. Really professional. |
 | Regina Daniels | March 03, 2002 |
This is the PREMIER all-in-one application! It does everything from flowcharting to diagramming to engineering projects! You don't have to but several software application because Concept Draw Professional does it all! It's truly an amazing application. THANK YOU! |
 | jfmadden | Sep 23, 2000 |
Excellent, cross-platform technical drawing program with many bells and whistles. I have both the Windows (at my office) and Mac (at home) versions. It strikes me as rather Visio-like (for those who have used that program on Windows). It's unquestionably the best and most comprehensive program of its type currently available on the Mac platform. And I agree the developers are outstanding! |
 | aceebro1 | Sep 22, 2000 |
It's very good for what you get and the price you pay. Their technical support has been VERY responsive regarding issues that I have, and they are continually making improvements in rapid succession. Redraw is a little strange and printing needs improvement, but these things are being worked on, I hear. |
 | c.haynes | Jul 22, 2000 |
Gets better with every version. The level of intuition these developers exhibit is amazing. It's almost like they actually use their own software. Imagine. |

It's the only REALLY powerful flowcharter for Mac these days. And it's cross-platform! |

"Great great product. When all else fails, ConceptDraw is there to do it"
Erik Pearson Adaptations
Visio has been one of the few reasons for me to keep my Dark Side (wintel) computer in my cubicle. I have been WAITING a long time for someone to make an equivalent (or better) program for the Mac. I hope ConceptDraw works as good as it looks.
Jerome Krinock Radia Communications
In past letters to you I gave account of memory and speed issues of versions 1.55 and 1.58. Then I found a link to the Beta release of v1.6... All I can say about this Beta is- WOW! What a drastic change in performance.. My icons were quickly redrawn and instantly movable when selected. Large pages of items can now be dragged anywhere without a hitch. No out of memory errors and, well.. I'm a happy camper!
When you mentioned possible benefits of a new memory manager in upcoming versions I was skeptical but now I'm a believer. Thank you so very much! Ihave tested this version of Concept Draw 1.6 Beta with the latest Mac OS 9.1 and saw good speeds here too- switching between applications like Excel, or Photoshop 6.0 and Concept Draw were a snap.
Alan G. Ramos Graphic Services Technology Specialist McCann-Erickson New York
I love you product. I used Visio at work, but was looking for something touse on my Mac at home. Your product beats Visio hands down. Now if I can only talk my employer to switch.
How about adding a user's forum?
Raymond M. Troncozo, Technical Training Instructor Supervisor, U.S.
Great Product! Even better than Visio, and the Mac version is a life saver - there aren't to many cross platform modeling tools out there.
Stephen Lombardo, Zetetic Enterprises, Programmer
I have purchased a five pack license of Concept Draw based on the demo product. I am glad you are doing this product. It fills exactly the need I have for a moderate priced drawing program. I could find no such product at my local computer store, and had pretty much given in to using the expensive Visio product. I saw a reference to your program on a Macintosh web page and decided to check it out. I like it and I would like to deploy it company wide, with about 15-20 more licences, rather than deploying the competitor.
Mark Isfeld, Point Reyes Networks, Director of Hardware Engineering
This is a great bit of software! I had to crank out a quick site map for a client's Interactive CD catalog that works on and offline in a browser. the map looks great, and the client is pleased. Concept Draw was snap to use, now if I just had that manual. I'm recommending that we it for the rest of our development team for similar projects. I think it will really help our programmers to do their database schemas.
Jocelyn Wilson, Graphic/Web Designer, Arion Design
ConceptDraw is very easy to use along with clear documentation. Not only does it have some extensive drawing features, it hasn't forgotten to include the basic features of most draw applications. Navigation and commands are fairly easy, there's fair amount of drawing selections and tools.
Most of the selections (sector tool, Arc tool, Spline tool, and rotate object) seem to have been refined to work with more accuracy then other draw programs I have used. I like the "make same width" and "make same size" (like when you make several boxes, and instead of copy and paste, you can select all the boxes and just select the same width and same size selection tools. Works great! It has an amazing amount of line and arrow selections it offers, which are usually limited in other draw program.
I like that you can still modify individual components even though it is group. You can link objects to another file or to the Internet, a very nice feature! It can do layers -a very nice feature. If you are doing a floor plan then 1 layer can have all your wiring, the 2nd layer can have your furniture and computers, etc. What makes this program so successful is the amount of libraries it provides with a assorted tool palettes for whatever job you make be working on (diagramming, electronics, networking etc.)
Bernard Poirier, IS&T Information Architect, Apple Computer, Inc.
I'm very happy that I've finally found a good flowchart tool for the Mac. I've been searching for nearly two years. It was actually the reason I had to buy VirtualPC and run VISIO on it. Now I found your ConceptDraw, and its price is *very good*, too. I found out about your product at www.macintouch.com and immediately bought it today. It is great, exactly what I needed. I draw computer network, database and process diagrams.
Marc Liyanage, Software Developer, Switzerland
Great! I have to say that it is really wonderful to get the kind of response from you. I found your product as a result of frustration from dealing with other companies making a similar product to ConceptDraw who weren't as responsive to comments, questions and problems.
JP Collins, Director of User Interface, Extension 11, San Francisco, CA, USA
