XML and Open Formats.
ConceptDraw Professional supports open textual formats - Outline, FlowData, XML. It allows independent developers to use ConceptDraw for visualizing information, generated in other applications, and create customized solutions.
Conversion of Visio Documents.
The special mail service, which is available within ConceptDraw, allows to convert ConceptDraw documents to MS Visio format and vise versa. You can also download a free utility (Windows-only), and use it for converting files.
Data Exchange with Other Applications.
You can easily use your ConceptDraw drawings in other applications. ConceptDraw supports most popular graphic formats, such as JPEG, GIF, BMP, PICT, EMF, PNG, EPS, TIFF, TARGA. In the Professional version you can also save and open DXF files for data exchange with CAD applications, and PowerPoint files - for creating presentations easily.
Precise Drawing.
Guide lines, Snap and Glue tools, support for scaling, customizable grid help to draw with high precision. You can control each object's parameter directly using the properties table. ConceptDraw can have to 9 layers, which you can lock, hide or print individually.
Cross-platform Compatibility.
ConceptDraw works under Mac OS X, Mac OS and Windows. All its files (documents, libraries, templates) are fully compatible and can be moved from one platform to another without any conversion.
