Let’s say your job is to manage a very complex software development project. An important function of your role is to develop the flowcharts for all your internal and development processes. Your tool of choice is ConceptDraw PRO because of its flowchart capability for building and documenting processes. The flowchart diagram feature consists of standard geometrical blocks, text and connectors. By using the standard objects you save time when creating flowcharts. It is helpful to use frames to visually group objects that are logically connected; this greatly increases team comprehension when sharing the process description to your team.

You can create professional and visually appealing flowcharts in these 5 easy steps:

  1. Open the ConceptDraw PRO Drawing Shapes library and choose all the objects needed to build a workflow.
  2. Arrange objects within your workspace and connect them with connectors.
  3. Increase the impact of your flowchart by adding a process timeline chart. Use symbols to convey ideas and a legend to explain the meaning of each objects used.
  4. Create background page.
  5. From Presentation mode create a brief live presentation for the team. Press F5 from your keyboard to begin the presentation, and Esc to exit.
