It is most beneficial if you start creating presentations by building a scenario. This helps to keep you focused on your presentation idea, while mapping out all the details. ConceptDraw MINDMAP and Microsoft PowerPoint are the perfect power duo to help you create a professional presentation in just minutes.

You can use the Brainstorming mode in ConceptDraw MINDMAP to generate ideas, tasks, and questions. Use them for developing structure of your presentation. This is important for identifying your scope and vision, so you can then create each individual slide.

Once the brainstorming session is finished, it is time to develop presentation structure — you can select the slides that are most appropriate for your purpose, and organize them into mind maps following these simple rules:

  • Main Idea = Presentation Title.
  • Main topics should be the first level slides.
  • Subtopics are secondary level slides.
  • If you need to drill down to more detail, use additional levels of sub-topics.
  • Presentations should consist of 5 to10 slides.

Once your slides are mapped out, you can export your mind maps into a PowerPoint presentation with the ConceptDraw MINDMAP to MS PowerPoint feature. You can make further edits, add more details, and insert clip art while working in PowerPoint.
