Maintaining Organization within Multiple Roles and Environments

Robert Hardie is a Podiatric Surgeon consultant in the United Kingdom. Working as a consultant for the National Health Service and the Phoenix Private Hospital in the United Kingdom takes a lot of personal and professional management acumen. Being organized and self-managed is very important for him.

Since switching over to an iMac, Robert started using ConceptDraw MINDMAP and ConceptDraw PRO to maintain organization and self-management to successfully consult in multi-faceted medical roles and environments for professional and personal uses.

“By opening MINDMAP at the start each day, I am able to retrieve all important documents and data quick and easy!” says Robert Hardie.

Robert uses ConceptDraw MINDMAP to organize all of his various documents. “I can group documents functionally, rather than alphabetically as most 'file managers' do.”

He explains, “I can create hyperlinks to files, irrespective of what file type they are or what program they run in. Large amounts of information can be managed in a quick and concise manner. Being able to link maps is great way to avoid all your maps getting tangled up with each other.”

The ability to link topics and ideas together is a great way for medical professionals such as Robert to organize the “big” pieces of Information in a visually comprehensive way. Being able to click and drag objects and topics makes everything fast and easy.

Read the How To below to find out how you can catalogue your documents using ConceptDraw MINDMAP features, which were so helpful to Mr. Hardie.
