Throughout the history of the school, researchers from the University have made many important breakthroughs in Physics. MSDN has 8 Nobel Laureates associated with the University either as graduates and/or professors in the Faculty of Physics, 38 professors of the Faculty have been awarded with the Lenin Prize in Science, 170 have been honored with the State University Award and 70 professors have received the Lomonosov Award. Stanislav Kaul is a Physics Faculty Administrator at MSDN.
